Support the Italian Hospitals in Amman and Kerak, Jordan
In Amman and Kerak, Jordan, the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation and the Comboni Missionary Sisters lovingly oversee the Italian hospitals, providing a full spectrum of medical care to needy families, mostly refugees from Syria and Iraq.
Patients seek a range of services, including emergency care, surgery, neonatal care and management of chronic conditions. CNEWA works closely with the hospitals to oversee the care of the neediest, most vulnerable patients, and ensures they are not turned away based on their inability to pay for care. Through regular visits with families and case management with a social worker, we aim to serve 1,500 people otherwise unable to receive medical care.
With the influx of COVID-19 patients and the continued health care needs of the refugee population, the hospital relies on your support more than ever before.
